The New Wave Of Heavy Metal

A principio de los 70's ocurre una revolución musical, se inventa una manera distinta de tocar musica, acordes mas pesados, decibeles mas fuertes, guitarras distorcionadas, vocalistas con tono agudo, bandas con integrantes rudos y personajes oscuros... se estaban dando las bases para el Heavy metal.

Pero no es hasta finales de los 70's y principio de los 80's que se define el termino como tal. En Inglaterra comienza un movimiento musical como respuesta a la crecida popularidad del Punk, y la inminente decadencia del rock... Comienza la "Nueva Ola de Metal Britanico", una reinvención de la musica llamada Heavy Metal.


* La primera banda en comenzar la revolucion fue Judas Priest, que mas adelante crearia lo que hoy conocemos como el "uniforme" caracteristico de los metaleros: Chaquetas de cuero y ropa con puntas de metal
